Important Details

  • Check-in: Please check in at the designated location 30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure.
  • Changes to Reservation: You are allowed to make changes to your reservation prior to 48 hours before your scheduled departure. All changes are subject to availability.
  • Luggage: You are allowed to bring one large suitcase / backpack / duffel bag (max. 50 lbs / 23 kg) and one carry on item. Additional luggage is subject to a $7 charge. Oversize items, such as surfboards, are also subject to a $7 charge.

  1. GENERAL
  • No agent, contractor or representative of Hello Travel Panama has authority to alter, modify or waive any provision of these Terms and Conditions
  • Hello Travel Panama reserves the right at any time to modify these Terms and Conditions and to impose new or additional terms or conditions on your use of the Hello Travel Panama service.  Such modifications and additional terms and conditions will be effective immediately and incorporated into these Terms and Conditions.
  1. RESERVATIONS
  • DAILY SHUTTLES

    TERMS & CONDITIONS 

    • All reservations must be confirmed by a Hello Travel Panama agent.
    • Daily shuttles require a 100% non-refundable payment for service confirmation.            Hello travel operates low cost tickets and has limited seats for each travel, confirmation is important for us since clients are separating spaces that, if not paid, can be reserved by other people who also want to travel. 
    • We understand that circumstances may arise which may change your travel plans, Clients may reschedule their trip up to 3 days before departure with a single change allowed. The rescheduled reservation must be for the same client with no credit left open for last-minute cancellations.
    • Clients are responsible for providing accurate information: number of passengers, full names, passport numbers, the amount of luggage intended to bring into the vehicle at the time of reservation. Pickup place should be confirmed in advance, don’t hesitate to to call us if you need more information. Failure to do so may result in additional fees or service unavailability.
    • After completing the first payment (100% of the total amount), a confirmation email will be sent. Please review and verify your reservation invoice thoroughly and contact Hello Travel Panama immediately if your invoice appears to be incorrect or incomplete, as it may not be possible to make changes later.
    •  Hello Travel Panama cannot accept responsibility if we are not notified of inaccuracies within five (5) days of sending out the invoice. In the case of billing errors, Hello Travel Panama reserves the right to re-invoice you with correct pricing.
    • Pick-up times is an estimate and may vary by 15 minutes.

    Clients should be waiting at the assigned pick up point 15 minutes before the assigned pick-up time. The shuttle will wait for clients a maximum of 5 minutes. If after that waiting period the client is not on board, the shuttle will leave without the client and the client will not receive a refund.

    • Smoking or eating inside our buses is prohibited. Cleaning fee may be charged. 

     

    LUGGAGE POLICY:

    • Each customer is allow to bring the following:
    • One suitcase (such as a standard size suitcase, duffel bag or large backpack).
    •  The maximum weight of this item should be 50 pounds (23 kg).
    • One carry-on item.
    • Additional items are subject to a $7 charge.

    LARGE & OVERSIZE ITEMS

    Large or oversize items (such as surfboards or other large sports equipment) are subject to a $7 charge.

    DAMAGED ITEMS

    Normal wear and tear to personal items is typical of the handling process during transportation. Transporting large items, such as luggage, may result in scratches, dings, and nicks. Hello Travel Panama and its operators are not responsible for damages such as broken pull handles/straps, broken wheels, or damages that are incurred as a result of over-packing, items packed improperly, or fragile items.

    Luggage may be stored on top of the vehicle under a waterproof tarp. We do everything we can to make sure your belongings stay dry, but it is possible they may get a little wet in rainy conditions.

    LOST ITEMS

    Passengers are responsible for their own luggage and any items placed by themselves or Hello Travel Panama representatives in the shuttle bus. Hello Travel Panama assumes no liability in the event of damage, loss or theft of any such property and will not be responsible for losses incurred, including but not limited to: loss of future profit, potential income, and additional expenses or losses incurred as a result of lost or stolen baggage or personal property.

    Hello Travel Panama and its operators are also not liable for lost items left behind in the vehicle by a customer. However, Hello Travel Panama does want to help customers reunite with lost items whenever possible. If an item is lost, Hello Travel Panama recommends the customer immediately contact at info@hellotravelpanama.com.

    CHILDREN

    Hello Travel Panama welcomes the opportunity to serve our younger travelers when accompanied by a responsible adult. If making an online reservation, please indicate the number of children traveling with you (1-5 under years old $25.00)

    In accordance with Panamanian law, if your child is under the age of 5 years, you must supply an appropriate car seat for each child traveling with you. If clients do not comply with this law, and if we are affected by fines, the adult in charge of the child must be responsible for this.

    PETS

    You can travel with your cat or small dog (25 pounds or less). Tickets are $16 for each pet.

    Bigger dogs are subject to use one sit, you must pay for the full ticket ($25.00 + itbms)  and carry on with you a blanket or pet cover sit.

    Pets must be transported in a pet carrier. Pets without pet carriers will not be allowed in Hello Travel Panama shared shuttle service and will require a Private Transfer.

    We recommend sedating your dog or cat if they suffer from nerves or are not used to long trips. Bring a blanket or protector with you in case you want or can take it out during the trip.

    CHECK IN

    Customers are required to check in at our office or dock 30 minutes prior to their scheduled departure time.

    TRAVEL INTERRUPTION & DELAYS

    Hello Travel Panama is not responsible for significant delays on anticipated arrival due to traffic, weather, road conditions, major protests, or any other unforeseen circumstances. If your trip with us is forced to turn back due these complications, we’ll gladly accommodate you on our next available shuttle. 

    TRAVEL TIMES

    Unlike private transportation, shared rides typically take longer as customers wait for fellow passengers to load or unload as we pick up or drop off. In addition to being affected by other passengers sharing the ride, travel time is dependent on geography, weather conditions, peak hours, holidays, major protests, and traffic conditions. Because of these variables, we cannot provide an exact travel time.

    SERVICE ADVISORIES

    At times there may be delays and changes to normal operations due to severe weather, strikes and traffic incidents. Whenever possible, Hello Travel Panama will try to notify customers of these conditions in advance.

     

    REST STOPS

    Passengers who leave the vehicle at stops and rest breaks are responsible for re-boarding the vehicle at the scheduled departure time. The vehicle will not wait for passengers who are missing or late. No refunds will be given in the event that passengers do not board the vehicle before it leaves each rest stop. Passengers will have to re-book (at their own expense) to continue their journey.
